A trained Adult Guidance Counsellor with a Postgraduate Diploma in Arts from Maynooth University, Ireland, and 4 years' experience, I take immense pride in my work. I have had the privilege of being mentored by the esteemed Pat Shortt, whose guidance has been instrumental in shaping my professional journey.

I work at ETC Consult, a Dublin-based organisation specializing in selection, training, development and career guidance. ETC Consult provides advice on entering organisations at a suitable level and progressing within the company, or even starting one’s own business.
Our main focus is psychometrics and matching individuals with suitable jobs, careers and occupations. We use psychological expertise, competence-based interviewing skills, and practical experience to provide effective career guidance. We serve a diverse clientele, from corporate clients needing assistance with staff selection and promotion, to individuals seeking career guidance.

I specialise in providing a comprehensive Career Guidance Service for individuals aged 16 and upwards who are uncertain about their career paths. My services include a thorough assessment comprising an Occupational Interests Inventory, aptitude tests, and a personality inventory. In consultations, I discuss the results with clients in depth. I then produce detailed career guidance reports, recommending potential careers and providing specific guidance on how to access those careers.
My strengths lie in my communication and relationship skills. My experience has given me a deep understanding of marginalisation, exclusion and adult career development.
